For those who are unfamiliar with Eminence, MO, welcome to the boonies! You're leaving civilization and headed to breathtaking views!

How far is Echo Bluffs State Park to St. Louis, MO? The park is 152 miles (2 hours and 38 minutes) from downtown St. Louis.Are you using a map on your phone? Cell phone service is minimal, and the only cell provider that works in some locations is AT&T. So don't forget the old school printed map and take the only scenic route for our special day! No worries, it won't last long! Echo Bluffs State Park does offer free WIFI for us who are glued to our phones. The reception will be at Echo Bluffs State Park, and the Ceremony will be at Shannondale Community Church. Shannondale Community Church is 6.7 miles away from the park. Bring your school memories to the surface and join everyone on the bus to be transported from the lodge to the Ceremony and back.&nbsp;

Does Echo Bluffs State Park have a store? Yes, Sinking Creek Mercantile is a small store located within the park. They carry a variety of sundries and basic essentials for camping and picnics. They have a range of gifts from unique souvenirs made from local artisans, logo apparel, and snacks. An ATM is also available within the park. The store is typically open from 7 am to 9 pm.

Did you forget your pantyhose? No worries, the closest Walmart is a 23.2 miles away from Echo Bluffs State Park.&nbsp;

Are you feeling Hungry? The closest restaurant other than The Creekside Grill located at Echo Bluffs State Park is a 14.9-mile drive, or if you're feeling fast food, take a few turns and drive 23.2 miles to the heart of Salem. The Bride & Groom & Parents will provide snacks at limited times. Otherwise, bring some of your favorite snacks.

Rooms are available in the lodge where the reception will be taking place, and there are two-bedroom, three bedrooms, and four-bedroom cabins available. There is limited space, and please do not delay and book today. The park offers campsites with and without RV hookups. Please be advised, those campsites have not been blocked, and are open to the public for reservations. Please do not click on, "Book a Room" below. You must call to reserve.

Devils&nbsp;Well&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;sinkhole&nbsp;cave&nbsp;near&nbsp;Akers&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;U.S.&nbsp;state&nbsp;of&nbsp;Missouri,&nbsp;containing&nbsp;an&nbsp;underground&nbsp;lake&nbsp;that&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;largest&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;state.&nbsp;It&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Ozark&nbsp;National&nbsp;Scenic&nbsp;Riverways&nbsp;and&nbsp;can&nbsp;be&nbsp;viewed&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;public&nbsp;any&nbsp;day&nbsp;during&nbsp;daylight&nbsp;hours.

Devil's Well

Located approximately&nbsp;13 miles north of Eminence on Highway 19 is Round Spring.&nbsp;The spring flows into an almost perfectly&nbsp;circular cavern that has collapsed, and&nbsp;from there it travels through a natural&nbsp;tunnel before it emerges into the spring&nbsp;branch. It is believed that a portion of the&nbsp;spring’s recharge area is to the northeast&nbsp;of Spring Valley, which means that the&nbsp;water would have to flow under the&nbsp;Current River to reach the spring. Round Spring was also one of the&nbsp;first parks in the Missouri state park system (1932). The Round Spring State Park was incorporated into the Ozark National Scenic Riverways in 1972.The spring itself is some 55 feet deep, rising in a nearly circular pool of water before flowing under a natural bridge to join the Current River. On an average day, some 26 million gallons of water flow from the spring. At quiet times, otters, wood ducks and great blue herons may be seen in the spring. People however, are prohibited from swimming or wading in it.

Round Spring National Park

Do you enjoy fishing? Look no further then Montauk State Park.&nbsp;. The park is a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Echo Bluffs State Park.

Montauk State Park’s premier attraction is trout fishing, and the Current River contains both rainbow and brown trout. The pristine waters and natural surroundings of the Current River are an excellent&nbsp;background for trout fishing. License and daily trout tags are required and can be purchased from the Montauk State Park lodge.



The fishing bell will ring at 7:30 am and&nbsp;wraps up at 7:30 pm.







Montauk has three fishing areas.



Catch-and-Release Only Area

In waters designated catch-and-release, trout may not be possessed. All 
trout must be returned unharmed immediately. Only flies may be used.







Fly Fishing Only Area

In waters designated fly fishing only, a fly shall be constructed on a 
single point hook of feathers, tinsel, chenille, yarn, fur, silk, rayon 
or nylon thread or floss, with or without a spinner.







&nbsp;Artificial Lures and Natural Bait Area

In waters designated artificial lures and natural bait, any bait, including lures, natural bait or flies may be used.







These areas are marked in the park and maps are also available.







Five accessible fishing sites are located throughout the fishing 
stream, ensuring that all anglers have a chance to catch a lunker trout.

Rocky Falls Shut-in Trail folllows the west bank of Rocky Creek to base of a 40 ft. tall cascade of brown, pink, and purple igneous rock. From there one can carefully climb the rock face to the top of the falls and explore the scenic area. The pool at the base of the falls is a nice swimming hole.

Wild Horses

Walk outside of your room and enjoy the many activities the park has to offer.&nbsp;

The park is nestled along the Sinking Creek where you can setup a chair to relax, float down the creek, enjoy a dip in the water or throw a rod in, and fish.

The park also has great hiking and mountain biking trails.
